Facebook bans teen’s puppy photo, and the reason is something you can’t unsee

An animal lover was baffled after a photo of his 3-day-old puppy was banned from Facebook for ‘violating community standards.’

Seeing as Facebook is roughly 15% pet photos, how could this happen?

Well, here’s the image shared by 16-year-old Dominic Ibaos that sent the social network’s censor squad’s heads a-spinning:

Dimitri, my hairless puppy.

Cute!

“I got a notification saying it had been blocked a few minutes after I posted it to the group,” Nikki told the Mirror. “It’s really hard for me to see the penis perspective because when I look at it I always just see the puppy.”

The puppy, a rare Xoloitzcuintli breed named Dimitri, has become a viral sensation.

After the hilarious misunderstanding, Ibaos took to Twitter to share, and the post quickly tens of thousands of retweets.
