Gus Kenworthy certainly knows how to capture people’s attention.
The out Olympian shed some clothing and snapped a thirstful bathroom selfie, and while the focal point of the image is his large owl tattoo, the real star of the pic is his… cell phone accessory.
OK, arguably a bit less sexy, but there’s a good reason Kenworthy is showing off his case.
The “Be True” attachment is designed to help you keep your phone from slipping out of your hand. It also benefits a worthy cause.
“This photo is to show off my new @popsockets grip and THAT IS ALL!!! Don’t @ me! ,” he wrote.
“Honestly though, I’m very excited because the PopGrips that I designed are finally available! 50% of the proceeds are going to help fund my @aidslifecycle campaign and that money directly improves the quality of life for those living with HIV/AIDS! Click the link in my bio to get yours now! Be you, be true!’
Last year, Kenworthy shared with fans that he’d be participating in the upcoming annual AIDS/Lifecycle ride form San Francisco to Los Angeles.
So far he’s raised more than any other rider — over $55,000 that will go towards critical HIV/AIDS services provided by San Francisco AIDS Foundation and the Los Angeles LGBT Center.
AIDS/Lifecycle will take place from June 2-8, 2019.
