Kim Davis Was Pregnant By Her Third Husband While Still Married To Her First

Well, well, well. It looks as though Kentucky clerk Kim Davis, who has been busy invoking “God’s authority” to illegally deny marriage licenses to same-sex couples, may have a few sinful skeletons in her closet. Four, to be exact.

U.S. News has obtained court records which indicate that Davis has been divorced not one, not two, but three separate times. The first time was in 1994, the second in 2006, and the third in 2008. She’s currently on husband #4, but she insists he’s “the one.”

But wait! There’s more. Lots more.

Davis gave birth to twins five months after divorcing her first husband. They were fathered by her third husband, but adopted by her second.

Let’s break that down real quick: Basically, Kim cheated on her first Husband #1 with her Future Husband #3, got pregnant by #3, divorced #1, then married Husband #2, who adopted #3’s twins.

As of this morning, Davis has yet to respond to this latest revelation from her sordid past, but her supporters say they couldn’t care less.

Mat Staver of Liberty Counsel says Davis’ marriage and childbearing history is “not really relevant” to her illegally denying marriage licenses to same-sex couples on religious grounds. He claims her multiple marriages are “something that happened in her past” and that when she converted to Christianity four years ago “her slate was wiped clean.”

“She was 180 degrees changed,” he said.

Davis’ colleague, Casey Davis, who is not related to Kim Davis, says there’s a huge difference between getting a divorce four times and being in a same-sex relationship.

“I don’t have any problem with that whatever, how she was before,” he told U.S. News. “If the Lord can forgive her, surely I can. That’s something that’s forgivable just like any other sin, but if you continue in it and live in it, there’s a grave danger in that.”

Blatantly defying the United States Constitution, on the other hand, is totally not dangerous at all.
