Note from bisexual man’s younger brother goes viral: “Love whoever you want, just love hard”

A note left for a self-described bisexual/queer man by his younger brother has been shared thousands of times, and it’s easy to see why.

Erick Enders found an envelope on his pillow after a long day at work; inside was a handwritten letter from his brother Sean, who is straight.

It read:

Erick,

I just want to let you know that I love you. We don’t have time in this life to be sad or hide who we really are because before you know it, it could be too late.

Love whoever you want, just love hard. I support and will support you in any way possible. I know we’re not the closest, but I just wanna let you know that I know and I don’t care because it doesn’t change you as a person.

So if you ever need to get anything off your chest, I’m right here. You don’t have to find your identity alone!

I love, I care, and I support you, Erick.

Love, Sean

When Erick shared the touching note, he never could have expected the response it would receive online.

It’s never a bad idea to tell your loved ones what they mean to you.

Now please excuse us while we run out to buy some stationary…

It appears Erik took the plunge to come out publicly in July, and he shared a bit of that experience as well:

Congrats, Erick!
